Currensy – I Know

Curren$y drops off his second single off of his upcoming project with Lex Luger. The project is due at midnight so to build anticipation, Spitta delivers another hard-hitting track off of the project. Curren$y has one of the most laid back flows in hip hop and Lex Luger’s innovated the sound of trap with his signature haunting synths, orchestra strings and 808 drums.

We’re on the eve of the release of The Motivational Speech EP which will be Currensy’s second solo body of work of the year. If you haven’t heard by now, it’s produced exclusively by Lex Luger,Yesterday we heard and saw the video for ‘Pressure‘ and today we get ‘I Know’. I wish this one had another verse on it.

Currensy – Tennis Bracelet

Curren$y gifted fans with a new mixtape today entitled The Champagne Files. One of the standout tracks from the release is “Tennis Bracelet.” Full of smooth instrumental vibes and some nice laid-back rhyming, it puts Curren$y back into his sweet spot, operating with a smooth, charming candor.
The impressive nature of the mixtape release shouldn’t go unnoticed – after all, this is the same rapper who dropped a 41-track LP earlier this year. However, the well certainly hasn’t dried up for the New Orleans rapper, as “Tennis Court”certainly keeps his recent momentum going.

Currensy – Money In The Air

Curren$y is getting set to drop a new project titled Smokey Robinson 2: Smokey’s Revenge, hosted by DJ Don Cannon. A month after putting out “She Don’t Stop,” Spitta liberates another track off the mixtape called “Money in the Air.”,The track features that smooth Curren$y delivery, but over a much somber beat, made as such by the choir sample throughout the track. It’s always a good day to get new music from Spitta as he talks about spending money in a certain club.

Currensy has released several projects over the last year or so but he wants to keep the momentum going. He is preparing to release his new mixtape Smokey Robinson 2: Smokey’s Revenge with help from Don Cannon. The DJ was the official host for the first installment back in 2010 as well.,Curren$y and Don Cannon have certainly been in the studio. Just last month the duo teamed up for the track “She Don’t Stop.”.
